Attn: St. Patty's Drinking Tryouts!
Although I am German and Polish by heritage, there is nothing wrong with celebrating diversity by consuming massive amounts of alcohol on the day reserved for the honor of Irish instestinal fortitude; St. Patrick's Day.
What other holiday of the year (besides New Years) is specifically designated for getting intoxicated? If you ask me, I think it should be a national holiday, and the working class should be allowed to get pissed with some green ale and curb the spins with some Corn Beef sammiches.
Tonight, I will start the celebrations early by picking up a 6 pack of Guiness and listening to some Celtic bagpipe music. Perhaps I will even sketch out a Leprechan or two if I'm feeling especially creative (lucky you!).
